The ELCA Passage small group team is looking for young adults to lead a small group of graduating high school seniors who are registered for the program.

Here is the expectations of a small group leader and a contact person for those young adults  who you think would be a good fit:

For a period of six weeks starting June 15, you will gather and lead a small group of 4-7 high school seniors/graduates via Zoom. Each small group time will be approximately 45 minutes. You will have the opportunity to indicate the days and times you are available.

Each week will have a specific focus and include a short video to watch. Your job as small group leader will be to walk participants through a few reflection questions related to the theme and video.

We will have periodic small group leader huddles online to check in and see how things are going. There will also be a Facebook group for you to post highlights, questions or comments from your group.

There will be one 45 minute training that we need you to attend. The training will go over details on passage and best practices for leading a small group and boundaries with youth. The training will take place during the first two weeks in June.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to serve. Please email me back at (LAMONT.WELLS@ELCA.ORG) by Thursday, May 28th with your response(s).

  Peace, Pr. Michael Jannett
