We haven’t used this youth and young adult e-news list in a while, but we have lots to share for all middle school, high school, and young adult friends. Please be sure to look at ALL notes below!

2021 All GA Youth Gathering - Last Call!!!

Deadline: February 21 (after this date, t-shirts will not arrive before event)

Registration: https://www.sesyouth.org/All-Georgia

Location: Zoom

Date: Saturday, February 27

Who: all 6th-12th grade youth in any of our four states (especially Georgia)

Cost: $20

Schedule:

• Morning session - videos on your own
• Afternoon (1:00-2:00pm ET): optional game / craft time
• Evening (4:00-6:30pm ET): theme content (Accept. Embrace. Spread Grace. Along with discussion about the Healing of the Leper in Mark 1), small group conversation, presenter, music with Tyra Dennis

Southeastern Synod Young Adult Gathering

Deadline: February 25, 5:00pm ET

Location: Zoom

Date / Time: Thursday, February 25, 7pm ET

Who: all young adults (18-30ish)

Cost: FREE

We will get to know one another and look at wrestling with the question: “what is my next most faithful step?”  We will have with us Bishop Kevin Strickland, ELCA Young Adult Program Director Savannah Sullivan, Assistant to the Bishop Pr. Michael Jannett, and musician Mr. Chris Clay

SESLYO Assembly

Deadline: Saturday, March 20

Registration: https://www.sesyouth.org/seslyo-assembly  (registration to open soon)

Location: Zoom

Date: Friday, March 26-Saturday, March 27

Who: 6th-12th grade youth from all four states

We will think through what it means to “Accept. Embrace. Spread Grace.” through youth-led worship, youth-led workshops, and activities to get to know one another. We will also elect a new seslyo board for the 2021-2022 year! Do you know youth who want to lead? This is a great place to learn about leadership!
