Event Description:

Bishop Strickland invites all rostered ministers (pastors, deacons, in call, on leave from call, or retired) to join him on Tuesday, March 30th for a service of prayer and renewal of vows. Musicians from around our synod and the ELCA will be joining us to lead in worship. And we are thrilled to have as our guest homilist for the day, The Rt. Rev. Phoebe Roaf, Bishop of the Diocese of West Tennessee of the Episcopal Church.

Just a few reminders:

• Good Friday Stations of the Cross
  • Leaders from the synod staff and extended synod staff will be sharing 14 Stations of the Cross on Good Friday.  These will be posted on social media (YouTube and Facebook) every 30 minutes, beginning at 7am EST / 6am CST.   These reflections will be about 2 minutes each.
• Easter Sunday Sermon by Bp. Kevin Strickland
  • This sermon comes like all of our synod staff sermons of late
  • You may share on social media or include as part of your worship service
  • Will be available as a video in English, audio in Spanish, and as a PDF
• 2nd Sunday of Easter, Year B - FULL WORSHIP SERVICE
  • The synod staff have recorded a full worship service for your use
  • You will be able to download the ENTIRE service, or access just the sermon only
