The 2021 Synod Assembly will be held on a digital platform called LUMI.

Synod Assembly Registration
Registration will allow you access to the digital platform being used for the 2021 Synod Assembly.
Rostered Ministers: if you are unable to attend, you are expected to send a letter excusing your absence to Bishop Strickland (bishop@elca-ses.org).
Special notes for registration:
- Previously, Synod Assembly registration has been set up as "GROUP" registration. For 2021, everyone will register in an INDIVIDUAL format.
- EVERY voting member must register with a unique email address. You will eventually use this email address to log in to our digital Synod Assembly on June 5, 2021.
COSTS:
- Standard registration (through April 30, 2021) for voting members (Rostered/Lay) with a credit card is $90, or $85 with a check.
- Late registration (through May 21, 2021) for voting members (Rostered/Lay) with a credit card is $100, or $95 with a check.
- WE CANNOT ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS AFTER MAY 21, 2021!!!
- Checks need to be postmarked by May 24, 2021.

Elections
At the 2021 Synod Assembly, we will hold several elections. Nominations must be submitted by May 1, 2021.

Here are some other important dates for you to mark on your calendars:
- Wednesday, June 2 - 7-8pm ET / 6-7pm CT - PASSIVE testing for Lumi
- Figure out how to log in to LUMI, our online digital platform for the Assembly
- Once you login, you will simply see a video playing - you will know you've logged in successfully!
- A Help Desk will be available to assist you
- Thursday, June 3 - 6-7:30pm ET / 5-6:30pm CT - LIVE testing for Lumi
- Learn how to raise your hand, ask a question, vote, and more, within the Lumi platform
- You will interact with some of the Assembly leaders to make sure you are comfortable with the Lumi platform
- Help Desk will be available for this session, too
- Saturday, June 5 - SYNOD ASSEMBLY!!!
