2021 Synod Assembly Announcements

The 2021 Synod Assembly will be held on a digital platform called LUMI. We have included a link to a video from Lumi that introduces us to the digital platform.

Registration will allow you access to the digital platform being used for the 2021 Synod Assembly. Please share this form with others who have not yet registered. ALL Voting Members of a congregation must register, INDIVIDUALLY.
Special notes for registration:
- Previously, Synod Assembly registration has been set up as "GROUP" registration. For 2021, everyone will register in an INDIVIDUAL format.
- EVERY voting member must register with a unique email address. You will eventually use this email address to log in to our digital Synod Assembly on June 5, 2021.
COSTS:
- Late registration (through May 21, 2021) for voting members (Rostered/Lay) with a credit card is $100, or $95 with a check.
- WE CANNOT ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS AFTER MAY 21, 2021!!!
- Checks need to be postmarked by May 24, 2021.

There will be two opportunities to participate in an Assembly hearing on the 2022 Ministry Spending Plan and a workshop focused on becoming a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation. These events are open to all. The Southeastern Synod’s Diversity and Justice Taskforce is presenting the RIC workshop. Both sessions will be held by Zoom and registration for this event is below:

Here is an introduction to the Lumi platform. This is how what our ONLINE Synod Assembly will look and feel like:
In about a week, you will receive another Synod Assembly email that contains details for how to log in to the Lumi Platform.
Pay attention to these IMPORTANT DATES:
- Wednesday, June 2 - 7-8pm ET / 6-7pm CT
- PASSIVE testing for Lumi
- Make sure you can log in to LUMI, our online digital platform for the Assembly
- Once you login, you will simply see a video playing - you will know you've logged in successfully!
- A Help Desk will be available to assist you
- Thursday, June 3 - 6-7:30pm ET / 5-6:30pm CT
- LIVE testing for Lumi
- 2 testing periods will be held, starting at:
- 6:00pm ET / 5pm CT, and
- 7:00pm ET / 7:30pm CT
- Learn how to raise your hand, ask a question, vote, and more, within the Lumi platform
- You will interact with some of the Assembly leaders to make sure you are comfortable with the Lumi platform
- Help Desk will be available for this session, too
