Here is our follow up to our Lectionary Study

with Rev. Dr. Joy Moore, from February 17, 2022:

We want to thank all who could attend on Thursday, February 17, for a Lectionary Study for Lent with Rev. Dr. Joy Moore.  We had a wonderful time together.    In fact, we are thankful for ALL of you, regardless if you were able to attend or not.  We are thankful for this partnership.

On February 17, Dr. Moore invited us to keep the end in mind.  Are you leading up to Palm Sunday?  Or Passion Sunday?  Keeping the end in mind will shape how we see Ash Wednesday and every Sunday in Lent.

Notes from Rev. Dr. Joy Moore

  • Poll Question
    • What do you plan on preaching on for Sunday, April 10, 2022?
      • Palm Sunday - 28%
      • Passion Sunday - 46%
      • Neither - 26%
      • (Note:  some of the "Neither" answers revealed that folks blend the Palm and Passion motifs on the Sunday before Easter.)
