Braver Angels "Skills for Bridging the Political Divide" Online Workshop this Sunday!

In our current polarized political environment, many people avoid or dread political conversations with friends or family members whose politics differ from their own. They worry, rightly so, that any attempts at political discussions will devolve into arguments and acrimony, and result in hurt feelings or anger. Braver Angels Skills for Bridging the Divide Workshops teach skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground, and affirm the importance of the relationship. They also give participants a safe environment to practice those skills.  Join us from 3:30-6pm EST Sunday Nov. 20

Walk to Bethlehem this Advent

25 Days - 25 Miles - $25

Join us this Advent as we Walk To Bethlehem.  From December 1 - December 25, we will walk 1 mile per day and donate at least $25.  All the funds raised will go towards assisting Augusta Victoria Hospital on the Mount of Olives. This is a Lutheran run hospital that provides health care to anyone in the Holy Land and nearby territories. This hospital, one we as Lutherans support, helps to ensure that barriers of religion, politics, land, don’t keep any one from receiving needed healthcare. Watch this short video by Bishop Strickland and Allison Lizdas, Assistant to the Bishop for Advocacy for more information: https://youtu.be/_-2jnKqUUWw.
