A Request from the Southeastern Synod Disaster Ministry and Bishop Strickland

Can you and your congregation make Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, an opportunity to respond to the recent disasters that have been occurring in our synod?

Spring tornadoes started early this year with large tornadoes in January in GA and in AL and again with widespread destruction recently in MS and northern AL. In addition to those, smaller tornadoes have touched down in many communities across our synod, leaving damaged homes and families in need. Your synod disaster ministry team is actively responding alongside congregations within the impacted areas to address the needs of survivors and help communities organize for recovery.

Please consider making a gift to the Southeastern Synod Disaster Ministry to help us with our "long-term and on-the- ground" efforts.

Giving is the best way you can help!
