Mission CENTRAL

We give thanks for the many and various ways you reach out to serve your neighbor in generosity. Like your congregations, we plan our spending plan based on the intents we get from congregations. It inhibits our planning, spending, and ministry support when those are not received. To date, we have only received mission support designations from half our over 150+ congregations.

Please fill that out at the following link:

Disaster Ministry Support

Spring tornadoes started early this year with large tornadoes in January in GA and in AL and again with widespread destruction recently in MS and northern AL. In addition to those, smaller tornadoes have touched down in many communities across our synod, leaving damaged homes and families in need. Your synod disaster ministry team is actively responding alongside congregations within the impacted areas to address the needs of survivors and help communities organize for recovery.

Please consider making a gift to the Southeastern Synod Disaster Ministry to help us with our "long-term and on-the- ground" efforts.

Giving is the best way you can help!

Synod Prayer Ministry

PRAYER SESSION is (mostly) the 4th Monday of each month at 11am ET / 10am CT

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything make your requests to God...by prayer, thanksgiving and placing your request to God, the peace of God will guard your heart and mind fully beyond understanding (Phil. 4: 6–7)

The synod staff invites you to join in prayer.   Newcomers are always welcome!

This team will meet once a month via zoom to pray. Praying for the needs of ourselves, our neighbors locally and globally, the needs of the church and world, and for what else might be in need that day of prayer.
